Tiny Kernel of Dark Joy

A grieving woman mourns for her father as she plays his songs on the record player. She notices the last song is named after her but nothing is heard. Inspired by Rainer Maria Rilke’s letters.

TKODJ is a short story of a woman who has recently lost her father. We are narrated through a sonnet spoken by her. Her father has  left behind his music, stacked in vinyl and CDs. She takes one of the records and places it on the turntable.
